Been checking prices myself. Some of the companys even with the shipping fee is cheaper than buying from the chains where I live.

Doesnt seem like a bad a deal who qouted that.F/T does last a while. The chain pet shops a round here are charging $8.00 for one frozen small rat.If the $80.00 includes shipping Id say thats a good price.

I buy mine from rodentpro.com. The shipping cost doesn't hurt so much if you buy a larger quanity of frozen. I always figure up the cost of the rodents then divide the cost of the shipping into how many rodents I bought to see how much the rodents actually cost. The cheapest place would be to go to a rodent show and buy there then you don't have the shipping cost as all.

Hi in Akron. Yep there is a reptile show in Columbus every month. I will be going to the March or April show to restock on mice and to pick up a redtail baby for my birthday.
Here is the website for the show: http://www.allohioshows.com

Rodentpro is pretty great. I have ordered from them numerous times online. They also go to the Columbus show every month so you can shop online and pick up there. I have ordered before, changed my mind and wanted to add more and sent an email. They then called to confirm and talked to me. I was only buying 100 fuzzy mice at 19 cents a piece and 20 rats and I still felt they took care with my order. They ship out very quickly too and the box was well packaged with dry ice and lots of insulation.

Great big bunch of snow today eh? Geeezz.
