    why is it usually male morphs bred to normal females? could it be the other way around and get the same results?

    Yes. It's just cheaper to buy say a male pastel and five normal females than one normal male and five pastel females.

    pretty much said it all. males are cheaper than females and can breed multiple females in one season. you can breed any male to any female and get the same odds at offspring

    thanks guys that is what i was figuring. just wanted to make sure. i have been thinking about getting into the hobby for years but i have to convince the other half some how.
