Snake bit his tail

My snake bit his own tail today when I took him out of his cage =/ It looked fine and hes only about 20in or so, but when I came back in after cleaning his cage he was resting his tail in his water tub, hes also near shedding, but I was wondering if anyone has seen this? or if you think it will be any sort of problem

Hi,

It will in all probability be fine.

They can't see very well at certain times of the shedding cycle (when they are in blue ) and that can make them a lot more nervous and prone to defensive strikes at the big moving shadow.

I am sure he is fine, odd trick for a ball python usually that is a kingsnake stunt.
