How much do you pay for your Mazuri rodent food?

This is for those who buy Mazuri.

Do you buy 6f or 9f and what do you pay per 50lb bag?

I found someone who buys in bulk from Purina already and has no problem adding my orders to theirs. I just want to find out what the going rate for a bulk order of the food is because i just can't believe it's over 30.00 per bag!

After shipping for 6F when buying in bulk it works out to about 22.00 a bag direct from the maker..

From my local feed store I get it special ordered and it comes out to around $26 a 50lb bag...which is why I started using doggy bag dog food..$13 for a 40lb bag..and it works just as well.

freakie frog, how do you contact them directly and how much do you order at a time to get that price. That's the best price i've found so far.

I'm breeding for other people as well as myself and I find that people are skeptical when you tell them their healthy feeders are fed dog food. It's not the best selling point.

You can get in touch with your local Purnia rep by calling them and asking who it is. Then your rep can tell you which Mill to call and where it can be shipped.

To get that price you need to buy bulk and by bulk I mean 1+ tons of it at a time so roughly 40 bags at a time..I want to say we buy a 1 ton pallet for like 800.00 dollars give or take..

I know here in FLA I could not just order mazuri they wanted me to become a purina dealer which means I would have had to order 10K lbs at a time full line. Not just mazuri. SO I purchase it from a feed store for about $20 a bag.

I pay $25 for a 50 bag but have to go out of town to buy it, I did order some in locally and it was $37.50 so guess I will keep stocking up out of town instead. I am only breeding for a small amount of pets and go through 4-5 bags a year.
