Question about average price at shows?

I am going to be heading out to the Columbus, OH reptile show to pick up a baby BCI male redtail boa for my birthday gift. About how much is the average price at the shows so I know how much money to bring so I can tell my husband (not a snake person)? Also wondering about how much an albino is too incase I can talk him into that one. Are there any other low cost redtail boa morphs I should keep my eyes out for? My husband will likely only be authorizing under $100.This guy would be for a pet only. Not looking to breed redtail boas, that is what my balls are for . Thanks!

Ive seen albinos around 200 at shows. Another morph that is low cost is the hypo. you can find one of them from 100-150 (i think). 100 would definitely cover you for a normal male though. good luck with your new guy.

no more then 75 for a good looking normal at a show typically now albinos are in the 300 to 500 range depending on bloodline and etc

Thanks to both of you for the info. Looks like I will probably be going with a normal then. I am hoping to go to the March show in Columbus and I even have my husband thinking up names with me.

Idk if he will be vending, but a good guy to get boas off of is Jon Rice. He has vended for the past few months to sell off most of what he produced to make room for more. He sells a lot of higher end morphs but normally has plenty of normals on hand.

Thanks Mike for sending the private message with more info on Jon Rice.
