    Super pastel question???

Ok some of you may remember my little girl and the debate around what she really was...

Some said pastel, some said lower quality super pastel, and some said they thought ghost might be in there somewhere she was sold to me as a super pastel but the guy didn't know much about her as he hadn't produced her. I took a chance buying without more info I know but her pattern and faded head really interested me.

Well here's my question... When the possibility of ghost came up it was mentioned that I should check her shed and see if it was clear and that would indicate ghost. Is that correct? She has now had her first shed and it was clear head to tail no pattern on the shed at all just opaque skin. Does this indicate ghost?

On a side note I don't want to jinx myself but she feeds like a beast and has gained about 50grams in a month she's a little over 100 now so ic ouldnt be happier with her!

    Re: Super pastel question???

I would say a Medium grade super. The white lips give it away. I think she's far to dark to have ghost in her. I would like a little more blushing as a super, but she's young. She looks pretty good to me.

    Re: Super pastel question???

This is my pastel het hypo when she was younger. She is now almost 1400 grams and browned out a little bit. Her shed looks clear, but on very close examination shows some slightly darker patterns. It does not look anything like a normals pastel shed though.

To the OP, I don't see a super as it would have alot more blushing and the yellow would be more intense! The best way to find out is to breed her! Breed her to a normal and you will get all pastels if she is a super or breed her to another super and get all supers! Breeding is the only way to prove her out!

Nice snake, and being a good feeder is a plus.
