    swiching from live to frozen

    I have a question if a get a baby bp that has been feed live will it swich to frozen. if so how can I get it to eat frozen. I will be moving and getting live will be next to impostable. and breeding live stinks

    There is never any guarantee, though most switch some will switch sooner than others that might take months.

    When getting an animal it's also always best to feed him what he was previously eating and switch once well established and feeding for you.

    Some breeder sell animals that are already switched to F/T and some will even do it for you if you ask them.

    Again switching time may vary depending on the animal, might even require a little tough love.

    so once he has eating few good meals I should try to swich is what you are saying?

    Again no certainty and older animals might take a little longer but it can work.

    With older animals switching after a long fast often does the trick.

    ok thanks. I have a male bp that i got from a breeder. Which he got from a friend. the friend feed frozen, but the breeder feed live. So i can give it a try. i have got a few months befor I move.
