    noise/vibration

    just wondering..i have my bp in my living room/dinning room area because i really have no where else to put him..but i was just wondering do you all think my dish washer (close by) starting up will stress him? or should i try to move him...soomewhere...?

    I can't say if it is stressing him or not I am not there. I can tell you that they can feel very very small vibrations and that they don't have a complete ear like mammals do, but they do have some of the components of it that are fastened to the jaw bone. It is hard to know how much air borne noise they can feel thought their contact with the 'ground' but it is likely to be more sensitive in an enclosure than the wild. I can make the glass rattle in its track by walking heavily into my snake room I would be unlikely to be able to do so if it were on the ground outside. (I am a big guy but not that big yet anyway!)
