    Orange ghost combos?

so! i got my very first BP a couple days ago my bf got him for me for a vday present early since he works all the time..anyway i hope to start breeding eventually (next couple of years) and my first bp is an orange ghost..just wondering what are some of the combos you can get out of orange ghost?

any links anyone could provide on breeding and genetic information would be awsome! thank you

    great choice.
i can't think of anything orange ghost doesn't mix well with.
you can breed it to pastels and super pastels to make pogs and spogs.
you can breed it to spiders and bees to make honey bees and humble bees.
    just to name a few.
you name it, the ghost will make it better.
just remember though that ghosts are recessive so anything you breed it to will need to be at least het ghost for the ghost trait to show in the offspring.

Wow, you're so lucky you got an orange ghost, they're a personal favorite of mine! Congrats And a was said, there's really nothing it doesn't mix well with, it's a matter of taste. However since it's recessive it'll probably be a longer project, and with a little less certainty as to what the offspring do and don't carry.

There are two sites that are really helpful for genetics and breeding...

    http://www.worldofballpythons.com/
    and
http://ballpython.ca/ if you look in the gallery they have a great pictorial about breeding, and they also have some information on types of genes, etc.

you could get a pastel het hypo to go with him/her, our pastel hypo is still good looking into adulthood, and pastel het hypo should be relatively inexpensive.
