    male normal wanting to breed?

My male normal refused his rat last night. Now last week he ate for me no problem. It seems like every time we are supposed to get ugly weather here in Pennsylvania my snake goes off feed. My male is eight months old and weighs 874 grams. Is he mature enough to want to breed? I am not that concerned about him going off feed for a while because I know these snakes can go a long time without eating. My husbandry hasn't changed at all.

i believe you're right about the weather affecting it. i have a male that only refuses when it was cold. now i'm not 100% sure of confident in this, but it makes sense. my male is about the same age as yours, give or 1 or 200 grams..
