Serious Question.
I tried to reintroduce my male, Max, in with my big female, Maggie, last night. It has been three days since he has fed and I already posted that she has refused feed the last two weeks. It only took about 30 seconds of him being in with her and they started twisting around each other like crazy and trying to throw each other around the enclosure. I immediately removed him and returned him to his own enclosure. Is this a normal sign of her refusing him? Does anybody have any clips of this kind of behavior between male and female?

Re: Serious Question.
I'm Positive that she is in fact a girl. She has been probed, as well as palpated and 6 follicles noted. She has been building for about 3 months now.

Re: Serious Question.
No video but I have watched females buck males off of them and have seen the scenario you describe.
I don't remove them though I do watch till they settle down and make sure it doesn't get out of hand.
Amazingly the few times I've witnessed that thrashing also resulted in locks within a few hours

I haven't seen that, but I have paired my pied and black pastel in the tank once or twice instead of in the tub. And when I've come back I've found them locked, but with the "furniture" thrown all over the place... so something crazy is going on in there when I'm not looking.
