    Eyecap?

    Hi everyone!

It been a while. I just need an opinion on my bp.

I think she may have an Eyecap from a shed, but not sure. Upon using saline and a q-tip, nothing came off. Here is a pic of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: just so I don't get bashed... , I was very gentle, and didn't force anything. I bumped her humidity from 55% to 70% to see if she can work it off herself, if that's what it is.

If it wont come off, and is being stubborn, i would just wait til the next shed.

Does look like an eyecap is on there.
If you wish to try again get an appropriate sized rubbermaid tub with lid. Water line should be half the way up the snakes body with around 85 degree water. Cover snake in the tub for 30-45 min and then take him out. Use the q-tip now to try and get the eyecap off. If it doesn't work you can try again or wait til next shed. Depending on age of the animal (younger = more sheds, older = less sheds) should make your decision on if you want to wait for another shed.
