    Shedding

I got my first normal male in November and he has not shed, at all. He eats every time I offer food, moves around every day, doesn't mind being handled at all. Every thing I would expect to see an issue with is fine. Any ideas? I may be too cautious, but I would rather ask now and make sure he is happy.

How old is the snake? Have you ever seen the snake "go into shed"? Meaning the hazy look all over his body and whited out eyes? A pink belly at all?

He is exactly four months. I have never seen any sign of those things.

What is the weight of the snake?
What size prey are you feeding it?
How often are you feeding the snake?

I'm not sure how to weigh him. He seems to be growing at a steady pace. I am giving him two frozen fuzzies per week.

head on down to walmart and look in the kitchen utensils-appliances area and there should be a few food scales to choose from. get one of the $20 digital ones that will go up to 5000g or so and get a popcorn bowl. go home place bowl on new scale, zero the scale out so the weight of the bowl doesn't affect the weight of your snake and place ball python in bowl, record weight and get back to us.
