Don't have a clue what to do or what to get or will I get !

Okay so Im fairly new to BP's and I am still trying to learn how all the genetics/morphs go but basically I would like to know something !

I just got a spider ball python from a breeder and he had given me a certificate of all its information.

So the father of my spider ball was a "Butter Bumble Bee"
The mother I believe was a "Spider Ball"

So I would just like to know does that mean if I breed my male the chances of having a bumble bee come out of the clutch is higher ?
Does that mean my spider is Het for a bumble bee ? excuse me if im wrong or confusing Im just not sure how this all works .

I know that a pastel and spider make a "bumble bee' I would just like to know what I can or would come up with since those are the morphs of the parents.

Once again Im still learning about this so any help is great thanks ..

The dam and sire that produced your BP have no bearing on any of your future pairings, they will not change your outcome in anyway whether it is the morphs that are being produced or the ratio.

All you need to know is that is you want a Bee you need to pair you spider to a pastel which will give you 25% Bumblebee 25% Pastel 25% Spider 25% Normal (odd per egg)

For you to get a better idea here are a few great links for beginners that will help you understand genetics a little better when it comes breeding Dominant, Co-Dominant or recessive

    Great links.

In a nutshell, butter bumblebee is a snake that shows traits from butter, pastel and spider, all of which are either dominant (butter/pastel) or dominant (spider). The dam was straight spider. If your snake doesn't visualize any of the traits from the sire, it's because it doesn't carry that allele/trait, and it won't be passed on to future offspring from that individual.
