    Why is it ?

Im just wondering maybe someone can help me understand.

My question is about feeding ?

I understand the whole part that BP's need heat to digest there food .
I understand you should not handle them for about 2 days so they can digest.

But my question is why are they so aggressive after they have eaten and what makes them not aggressive after lets say this 2 day waiting period before you can handle them ? Is it something like the food does to them ?Is it like some chemical balance issue lol what is it im curious to know ?

I just got my snake yesterday and I fed him a F/T rat today and he took it no problem.... reason im curious and asking this question is I went to change his water after he ate and boy he didn't look happy sitting in the corner in the striking position.

Anyways just wondering what it is if anyone knows
    thanks

My 2 cents is that they have limited movement with a mouse in their stomach, because of this they may feel vulnerable.

They definitely do feel vulnerable after feeding. My rescued normal is always ready to strike to me after he feeds. It takes a few hours for this behavior to wear off.

They are more aggressive after a mela as they are still smelling the prey item and are still in feeding mode. Can also be indicator meal size is too small.

That makes sense aswell about looking for more food or the meal size was too small .....Im just following the breeders direction about it and keeping on his same feeding schedule before I got the snake ..... Like i said I just got the spider ball yesterday and haven't handled besides from a couple of mins before i put him away in his new home ..Im going to wait until he feeds for the second time the introduce him slowly to some handling I just don't want him to think I'm dinner ....How long does it take for the smell of prey to leave the tank or enclosure ?

Mine get appropriate sized prey, but will stay in that feed mode, just feed it 10-15% of it's body weight as it's growing, all my adults get a max sized meal no larger than 90g
