    Really confused about something...

So if you start pairing Nov 1st, wouldnt you expect everyone to lay around the same time? I just don't understand how people are getting clutches that hatch in Jan? Or year round for that matter. Can anyone explain?

You never really know when they female is going to ovulate. People start breeding Oct/Nov to ensure that they don't miss ovulation. It can happen anytime between Nov-June, really it can happy any time of year, but generally it happens early to mid year.

It's just strange to me that people are still hatching eggs from last year. So does that mean that they pair for a whole year if they don't lay until Nov?

While it may seem like it takes all year long it really doesn't.
The last 2 seasons I paired in November and on till ovulations and both seasons had eggs hatch in early Aug.

Yeah, those people were likely breeding all year, or they were breeding late. I can't say which, because people do different things. One reason could be that they just breed all year long, or they may have a girl that didn't lay in the spring/summer so they continued to pair. It could have been a girl that laid late so they started pairing late-after she got her weight back up. You never know, but those are common reasons why there are eggs being laid/hatching right now.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks for clearing that up for me
