Having trouble getting your male to breed? - new trick ;)

I finally got so fed up with my male bee not breeding that I put him up for sale. He bred once early in December but would not breed until NOW, finally! So for all you breeders frustrated with your males, try putting them up for sale... some times a little threat is all they need.

No, but in all seriousness... the real lesson learned is patience!

Back on the killer bee train!

Needless to say, he nor his girl friends are any longer for sale

    LOL

I have two males doing the same thing to me right now. They were very eager breeders about 5 weeks ago and now act like they would rather have a bag a chips and the remote control!

Maybe I'll just make a fake ad and post it in their tub. Do you think that would work

Best wishes for a nice clutch of killer bees!
    Cheers,

You hit the nail on the head! Patience! If they stop breeding then give them a break and try again! Good luck with some killer bees!

My spider, whom I thought wasn't getting the job done, until I cut my clutch back in Aug. I never saw him lock with my female, so thought my pastel sired the clutch, got 4 pastels, 4 spiders. Maybe you have an undercover lover or a speedy gonzales
