My bredli's pupils get very large when the daylights go out, indicating that she cannot see the infrared bulb that is on.

My redtail boa's pupils seem to remain the same size with a daybulb or infrared. If her eyes do change it is almost impossible to tell, as she has a thin black slit pupil at all times.

Does this mean boas can see infrared or why would her pupils not change indicating total darkness being percieved?
