:S Ooooh... should I? (Possible BP purchase)

So I found a Pied Male w/50% white for sale for $625 (Young'un, only 110 grams) and I'm seriously concidering purchasing him. I'm waiting on more pictures of him, but I did see the pic they had up of two males (one was already sold) and I liked them both.

I have been planning on purchasing a Pied Male at some point, but I don't NEED one until next year. If I purchase this one now, that means I probably wont go to the NARBC in Feb, which means I wont be getting an Albino Female until around Sept.

    So.. would you do it?

Do it that’s a great price and I don't think they will be that cheap next year, however make sure to research the seller on fauna and get all the pics you can also make sure its eating well. I'm usually very weary of things that are too good to be true and I also think you get what you pay for. If everything checks out to be good though go for it. I would

I picked up a smaller female pied last season, for about the same price, from a guy getting out of BPs. When I got her she was only around 140g, but now she's pushing 1000g and never misses a meal. If you can get a clean bill of health guarantee from the seller I say go for it.

    Beautiful snake!

I have wanted a pied since the first pics I have ever seen of them.

If I could afford it, and be assured the snake is healthy, without parasites and eating well...I wouldn't even waste time on here asking.

I originally clicked to wait but after seeing the pictures I think I would snatch that one up now given the chance. I love the pattern on that snake.

I think I'm going to go ahead and try to get him. The breeder is closed though, so I'll have to try and call tomorrow x_X now I'm anxious :C I hope someone else doesn't jump on him first! *worryworry*

Pieds and bumblebees are going to suffer from over-popularity. This lead to a serious boom in production numbers in 2009-present, and it will continue.

This is good and bad for you. Prices are dropping, however with over production, you'll have more choice. I'd say wait for the 2011s to start hatching simply because there will be lots of them. Jump the gun and be willing to pay a premium when you find THE animal that you have in your head as "the one". It'll be worth it
