    Re: can iguanas hear?

Hearing is pretty limited for most reptiles, however, I have heard multiple times that iguanas have pretty good hearing.

So yes, they can hear to some extent.

    Re: can iguanas hear?

To hear low end frequencies sounds(500 hz and lower) you don't really need to hear it. You feel it more than anything. I knew a def kid who would ride around on his bike with headphones on. Only because he felt the bass of the music. Play a song with mainly mid range frequencies (Vocal, guitar), no bass and see if you notice a difference. Then play something bass loaded.

When she ignores your music, it's because she wishes you would play her some country like her mother likes

I just grabbed Gizmo and whispered sweet nothings into his ear and he smiled.

    Re: can iguanas hear?

Most lizards can hear, they have ear canals and tympanic membranes.
