My BP is on her winter food strike again... What to do with the mouse?
*sigh* I've had this mouse living in a tiny little critter tank for about three weeks now. I keep hoping that Pandora will eat it, but she just wants out of the feeding bin every time that I try (and I try about once a week. She normally eats twice a week). I wish she would just eat it, because the little rodent is so noisy at night, and, quite frankly, I don't want to deal with it anymore. Does anyone know if pet stores usually accept mice back? I'm on good terms with the owner of our local pet store. Maybe he'd even let me get a mouse back for free if I returned this one...

If it's a small mom and pop shop I don't see why not.

Each pet store is going to have there own regulations. It would be better to ask the store if they will take it back then here.
If they don't want it you could see if there might be someone in your area that would take it off your hands for free.

No, they would just have a thawed dead rodent that won't get eaten. I have one sitting in my big male pastels cage as I type. He has baby making on his mind and wont eat.
Most pet stores will take them back if it's within 48 hours. Since it has been weeks, they may not take it back. I would ask the worst they can say is no.
Currently have
2.3 pastel's
0.1 spider
0.1 normal
1.1 100% het albino's
1.0 Albino ( he will live at work but i get to take care of him)
1.0 Cinnamon
1.0 Fire
