Question about Tub Temp, Ambient Temp

Ok... so right now I am seeing what I guess is an ambient temp of 79 degrees inside my tub with a humidity of 61%. I have a space heater in the room as well. I have the flexwatt set to 92 degrees. What is going on? I thought I would be seeing 90 degrees on the hot side and low 80s on the cool side with my accutemp digital thermometer? If 79 is the ambient how do I find out the real temps?

Re: Question about Tub Temp, Ambient Temp

That thermometer will only show you the ambient temp and the humidity.

Get another digital thermometer with a probe to test the warm side. If the ambient temp is around 80, that's probably the cold side temp too.
The probe thermometer will tell you the hot side temp. Make sure to put it under the substrate to get a more accurate reading.

I would set the flexwatt to 94F to get that ambient up a little. That'll put the hot side around 90-92F.
