looks: beautiful. brings out some of the natural colors on my mojo

holds humidity: very well. it was damp when it arrived and i have not had to moisten it yet so it does not dry out quickly.

disperses heat from heat pad: very well. the cypress mulch blend i was using before was too much of an insulator. it kept the heat down and did not let it through to the surface.

easy to clean: unknown but i suppose it would be considering it consists of small chunks of bark.

cons:

only 1 that i can see so far and thats due to its somewhat dark color...it will be difficult to see the poo. ALOT of caution will be necessary to avoid sticking my hand in there and "finding" the poo by accident.
