Mysterious bites on arm
I have a full small mysterious bits that have popped up on my arm, i had about 4 on my inner elbow/inner forearm, they have almosrt fully cleared up then got about 3-5 on my outer forearm. There almost remind me of small tiny pimples that are itchy.
1st thought was i recently got tattooed a few weeks back, im about 90% fully sleeved. When getting tattooed you shave the area before starting and I was thinking ingrown hairs or irritation from the razor.
2nd thought was i was looking into different bites and stumbled upon bed bugs. Very similar symptoms but everything i red shows tons of bites not just 4-10.
3rd thought brought me to wondering about my New BP George. We recently took him in. He shows all signs that he is healthy, eats well, had his first shed and came off perfect and has a freshly cleaned cage. Could he have brought anything in my house at all that could be causing this??
Any input is appreciated.

Are the bites in a straight line?
If so, you have bed bugs. I work in a hotel, and I know more about bed bugs then any one person should (not that we have a problem, but its part of the business).
This year has been an insanely bad year for bed bugs, and they are everywhere, including libraries, movie theaters, and 4 star hotels.

Well ive had 2 series of "breakouts" the first series of bites was kinda grouped closely and is mainly healed up over 2 wks now, the second group is 3-4 days old and more of a straight line probably total of 3-4 bites(size of mosquito bite) and now 1-2 days old I have just 1 larger bite that has some swealing to it(wondered if spider bite maybe). Once the 2nd series of bites started i completely stripped the bed clean and have washed the sheets and comforter. Next is tonight doing all laundry, vacuuming etc.

What you want to do is look for the bugs or their 'droppings' (small black stains) in the folds and creases of the mattress. If you see these, you can do one of two things.
Steam clean everything. With a serious steam cleaner. We use a Shark, because its the only one on the market that gets hot enough to kill the eggs. You need a steamer that gets above 140 degrees. Steam clean the whole room. Cover all outlet plugs, as they can migrate through there. Then you will want to go out and buy (or order online) a product called Diatomaceous earth. You can get a food grade version, and its safe enough to eat, though I don't know why you would try. Treat the mattress. Treat the carpet. Treat everything. Put all of your pillows in the dryer, and dry them as high heat for 30 minutes.
Option 2 - buy new everything. Easier, but more expensive. If you did this you would still want to treat with Diatomaceous earth.
Bed bugs can lay dormant for over 9 months. They suck. Literally.

Probably doesnt help that my sheets are black lol Ill probably start with the detailing first and see how it goes. Only have had a total of 6-10 bites. But want to nip this in the but so no more. Suppose to go work on finishing my sleeve next week and want to be all cleared up.
Thanks for the input i really appreciate it!

Or, you could have developed an allergy. They can come and go. Does an antihistamine make you itch less? If so, then time to see an allergist.

Sorry to tell you, but that's from bedbugs. Our last building had an outbreak a couple years ago. They were mostly in the unit below mine. The bites are in that specific pattern. I had them only intermittently and never ever found a sign of them in my bedding, mattress, etc - until I saw one crawling on the wall. I've never had bites that itched like that, and that more you scratch, the worse they itch. They did treat our building and I bought protective mattress covers and diatomaceous earth and treated my apt. That seemed to work, and when I was bite free for over a year and a half, I bought a place and moved out. I'm extra paranoid about them when I travel now...

Ya might want to steam clean the carpet prior to bringing the new mattress in and after you take the old one out.
Eeekkkkk the whole bed bug thing FREAKS me out! My hubby had to stay in a hotel a couple of weeks ago and I was trying to make him take the Provent a mite with him and spray everything down with it. He just laughed and said I was paranoid.
