Lightbulb Help Guide to Super Pastel

HOPEFULLY THIS IS THE FIRST HELP START GUIDE TO SUPER PASTEL

Happy New Year good people, I wanted to know if I could get some feedback as well from experienced breeders and like minds. I really have been following the pattern and blushing of supers but wanted to get some knowledge((pause)) on the debate of super pastels that have some striping like pattern(on the right below) VS those that have the high blushing and camo style look to them.

After watching I know this is no rule but I have watched a few supers being raised up from Neonates to adult. I have noticed that the busy neck pattern and striping tend to hold a strong over blushing of yellow vs the camo type(as pictured on the left)

Drop your knowledge((pause)) on the topic

I am considering taking my male pewter x a super to put out some NICE Sterlings Morph God willing. so please throw in your two cents and suggestions on what I should with.

Thanks for viewing courtsey of a TwIsted Morph MInIon

When it comes to an animal that displays the pastel trait, I'm more focused on color than pattern. Bright yellows with lots of blushing wins out for me.

However, if I can have my cake and eat it too.. I'd take a reduced pattern with ideal coloration as well

I think the pastel gene works to enhance the color of a morph rather than the pattern, thus you maybe get a silver out of this pairing.

Re: Help Guide to Super Pastel

Personally, if those were my two choices for a super pastel... I would continue my search. There are far too many brown pastels and supers you can confuse for a regular pastel. Go for the best quality you can find.

Nevermind that those snakes were bought from someone who is in jail right now for buying stolen goods...

Last I checked, the Snake Keeper had several smokin ones for sale. I'm tempted to pick up another just in case.

My ugly lil' super, for comparison. Yes, that's natural unaltered color.

I voted "I don't really care as long as the quality is high", since I agree w/ others that pastel's color might be a good basis in determining the looks of the offspring. Good luck in your search for a super
