Talking bath time. but bad poo

My girl had shed stuck on her tail and so i took her a nice warm bath and she played in it. It was very cute, she was actually going under the water and poking her nose out to breath, then going under her body. Nice water snake. ^_^
But when i took her out she seemed to stay stiff and she started to pee like crazy. Then poo, but i think she was constipated becuase her poo had a little blood in it. After she began to be very active and very happy. Though the blood worried me.

Poo is very common when you soak a snake. It just seems to lubricate the poo or maybe there's something primordial. I don't know, but it happens many times. You may also see water coming from the snake's mouth too. this also is normal.

As far as the blood, was there much of it? Was it bright red or more dull? I don't have an answer for you, but it it continues a visit to the vet would be recommended.

    Good Luck!
