Re: Nirvana, a rescue
It is indeed a very nice looking normal! Good on you for rescuing the snake!

What a nice size on that snake! They cared for her better than one of my normals...recently picked up a 4 year old normal weighing only 853 grams. They were feeding her mouse hoppers...
I used to keep a lot of corn snakes. Welcome to ball pythons. They have very different personalities but give them a chance and you will enjoy.

Nirvana is big! Looks like a normal to me.
Since shes so big id try switching her over to rats. Buying that many adult mice for her is a lot more expensive then picking up 1 rat. Your new BP will grow on you and you'll see why we are all addicted . Good rescue!!!

A nice normal rescue! Congrats and welcome to bps! If it will eat rats I would switch it over. IMO their excuse as to why she won't eat rats is bogus. If you feed live the snake will get bit every now and again. Rats/mice have teeth, there's no way around it. Usually the bites are harmless, few do much damage unless the rodent is left in the cage.
As for sexing there is no real way to tell other than probbing/popping. Popping at that size is extremely hard for someone that doesn't know how, or is new to popping. I would find a breeder in your area and ask them if they would be willing to pop/probe.

Re: Nirvana, a rescue
They said that they could not get her to eat F/T but I am going to give it a try. I do not have to buy mice seeing that Iam raising my own. I have 5 adult corns now ready to breed and am picking up 2 more pairs very shortly. the addiction is alreasdy there.
