I need advice!!!

I am in the middle of a big problem. So the basics behind everything is that I purchased two rats from a young lady a few months back. Now I have really bad memory and don't remember the conversation that we had, all I do remember is her telling me that she will send me a copy of the signed contract. Well I still have not received it. She received word that the contract was breeched.

Now my problem is I'm still trying to get a copy of the contract, but should I fight it since SHE is being difficult and i'm not, or should I just abide by the contract even though I don't have it???

I really love the rats and don't want to give them back to her. Mainly cause she has way too many herself, and not to mention the other animals in the house. But she is blasting me on Facebook. I have not said anything bad about her and did ask her to keep this private. Now I have taken screen shots, and I am thinking about consulting with a lawyer. But I am just stuck.

Please any insite from someone is appreciated.

give her the rats back and tell her to go BLEEP herself. Shes obviously out of her bird and is just looking to trouble. Thats what i would do.

why would you have a contract over 2 rats????? Totally don't get it but knowing attorney fees......I think ur crazy to not just drop the whole thing.

I could see a contract over a snake being worth ten thousand or more but not one two rats. I'm sorry but that is just flat out dumb. The lady is clearly one of those people who think there saving animals but really are just making things worse.

This was my first thought. If the contract was that the rats were to be pets and not food and that part of the agreement has been breached, what does she want you to give her back? A couple pieces of snake poo?

I'm curious as to the details of the "Breach of contract"...

Oh, and if you're tired of seeing her blast you on FB, why don't you just delete her as your friend?

My advice... don't worry about the stupid contract they are friggen RATS for crying out loud. Do what you want with them! As far as what this girl is writing about you on facebook, Sticks and Stones. People that really know you and truly care for you arent going to be influenced by what some CYBER CRAP TALKER has to say.
