what type of snake are theese?

i took this picture about a year ago and wasnt interested at the time. but i've got i nice 4ft tall and 4ft wide 1ft deep glass display case i wanted to convert to a really nice looking habitat display. theese would be perfect if you can house them together like in the picture. [IMG][/IMG]

They kind of look like the Amazon tree boa at a pet store in my town. (Although the one in the store is emaciated because the store had no idea he needed a tree before he would eat...wow.)
They're gorgeous though, I want to know what kind they are also.

umm id say a tree boa O_o but im not very good with identifying snakes......YET!!!!

im not good with tree boas but it looks like an amazon tree boa and im not sure about the other one

All three are indeed Amazon tree boas (Corallus hortulanus). Garden phase, red phase & brown (unless they're calling "brown" something different these days ). AKA "toothy tree noodles" - neat snakes to keep.

Omg yay! I guessed right for once.
Those are gorgeous! I've read that there's almost an infinite amount of color variations on those guys--do they go through phases and then all turn a certain color as adults, or are they all different colors throughout their whole lives?
Will a green baby turn black and yellow as an adult, etc?
They're awesome. And they have skinny bodies and great big heads

Not sure about Amazon Tree Boas coloration. I do know that Green Tree Boas hatch out different colors and change colors as they mature. Might be the same, sorry just not sure.

Definatlely Amazon Tree Boas. Some will change as they get older, some do not. The red should stay red, the Garden phase may become a darker almost purple color, or brown, and the brown make darken but not much, just depends how old. Great snakes, look good as display, but can be quit aggressive and like to bite. I used to breed them and had about 10 at one time in 15 years I had one that never bit me or even tried, Have had others that wait for me to open cages and then go nuts on my hands and arms.
