    Stripe morph?

I'm looking at this snake I might be interested in buying, the guy is selling it as a "stripe ball python" which I've never heard of, couldn't find anything on google either. Can anyone help me out, is this snake really a morph or just a unique looking normal? The price for the snake is $320

to my knowledge, its a normal with a full stripe, not a morph, cool looking but I don't think its worth the 300 dollars for it. all of my snakes from bhb have broken stripes, im sure some selective breeding could pop a full stripe out.

ok and someone give me a english lesson is striper refering to a stripe and stripper the dancer or vise versa? or is striper not even a word?

    Re: Stripe morph?

Striper would refer to a person who stripes, as in a person who makes stripes. Stripper would be like the dancer, yes.

Very unique normal. I would buy it, but not for that much. I think it would be worth more than a regular priced normal for sure though.

Thanks, guys. So what would you say she's worth? It's a female, 450 grams. I really like her but I'm probs not gonna get her unless he's willing to change the price. Then I'll just get a mojave or lesser instead.. or an albino pied paradox.. in my dreams

Hmm, I don't think it's a morph either. My guess is that it's a normal with a really sweet stripe and the guy just wants to make a buck off it. I wouldn't pay over $100 for a cool looking norm. You're taking a chance on something that has a good chance of not being genetic. $150 tops if you absolutely have to have her.

    Re: Stripe morph?

i'd tell that guy to stick it and not deal with them again. 320 for a 450g normal. HAH!! for that price you could get a nice female from a reputable breeder that is actually a morph, and not a normal someone is trying to sell for a high price. if u really do want it then offer him 75 bucks for it.
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

    Re: Stripe morph?

thanks guys! anyway I'm trying to see if I can get her for $200, i know that's probs still a tad over priced if she's just a normal like you say, but i really like the way she looks and well, I'm into breeding anyway

well knowing a normal 450 female would be 50 bucks tops....i wouldn't pay more than 100 for her. i mean for 200 couldn't you get a het g-stripe? or what do they go for?
