I thought mojave pieds were patternless where there wasn't any white. I thought they were strictly gold and white that's it.

Do you have single pictures of the male. I'd like to see him.

    Great lock!

so far they have seemed to all come out all white. as far as i know he's the only "low white" i know of. he was purchased (along side his sister who is high white) with a genetics garuntee. he's an 09 so hopefully he'll disprove any doubts this year and prove out. i've gotten many opinions as to wether or not he is in fact pied and everyone seems be in agreeance. you really have to see him in person.

heres him and his sister. he has a pied belly and pattern with mojave colors.

heres him with a normal pied: pay attention to the pattern and the belly of the pied where there is pattern. its all VERY similer.

belly shot of him as baby

heres a comparison shot with a mojave het pied.

hopefully he'll prove out wish me luck

That's interesting, its my first time seein a mojo pied that is low white. The white on his side indicates that he's a pied, but what's weird is that its pattern wasnt affected by the pied trait. I hope he proves out for you. This what makes bps special, they are really variable and you just wouldnt know what you'll get.

Oh yes you're right. I needed a second look and yes, the pattern on its side are different from normal mojos. Its somehow elongated rather than circular compared to normal mojos. Very interesting

I agree with you though. I'm shocked at how much of the pattern was retained. He's really cool!

I like how the mojo pied male's pattern got all stretchy like a cinny. Really cool snake... and I LOVE his ULTRA high white sister.
