Adult Spector photo request..

[Foschi Exotic Serpents]

Baby Specters are light with nice orange/pink dusting along the sides. Most specter combos seem to have this same trait but they darken with age. Adult color seems to vary between specters.

Does anyone have any photos of adult specters they can post? Preferable breeding age or older? I'm curious to see just how dramatic this color change is.

Im very sorry if Im stealing your thread, but I have a random question about Spectors. Did this morph start off as a dinker project for someone awhile ago? One of the most subtle morphs that makes awesome combos.

Thank you Albey That is a beautiful snake. So light in color. I saw a picture of one that was so much darker. It had jet black markings
with a much darker tan/beige base color. They all seem to have the exact same type of markings and pattern though.

I wonder who the lucky person was that first discovered it's hidden gene.

I don't think they would have started out as a dinker thing because they really do not stand out from normals aside from the fairly clean belly. I'm guessing it was a total accident. I'm sure someone just put a YB to their normal expecting to produce normals and YB but a surprise hatched out.

It was Jared Horenstein (sp?) and if I'm not mistaken the first Specter was actually a female so your theory is probably pretty close

You can pick out spector babies from normal babies. He had this picture posted on here when they hatched. Now as for knowing to bred them to a YB, total luck!
