When beardies are checkin things out why do they tounge it and he also picks his arm up like he is gonna wave but does some kinda twitchy wave thing lol is he tryin to wave to himself

Beardies have a 6th sense and can basically taste if something is dangerous...or safe...etc. hence they always taste things.

The wave is a form of submission. I like to think of it like..."Whoa hey ok ok ...its cool...please don't eat me"...lol
