Usually Rosy's need to be about 3 yrs old for females, males can breed at a surprisingly young age. I've heard of a male Rosy breeding at 9 mos. But, Rosy's, not always, sometimes turn a tad bit cannibalistic during mating. It's the exception, not the rule. I have a 9yo Rosy, never bred her. I'm sure if I did, there would be blood. I think she is bipolar.
