so its because he's all hot and bothered..

my male pastel weighs 976 grams today.
he's been gaining weight very slowlyfor the past couple months and was at
1000 grams beginning of november. but that was a couple days after feed,

question is since i cant feel any follicles in my female anywho.

should i stop pairing them till i feel her folicles?
and give him a nice long rest from breeding?

You don't need to give him a long rest, but you do need to give him a rest and make sure he's feeding. Just give him a break and feed him....then keep putting them together until you're sure shes gravid. She may not need more breeding, but if your male is fine, it can't hurt to give her a leeeetle more luvin. Just make sure you keep an eye on him. If he totally stops feeding, and continues to lose weight, a long rest may be needed.

well he hasn't stopped eating he just doesn't want a large meal anymore.
he's been eating 2-3 lg mice a week since the second week of nov.
so he's maintaining weight and gets 3 days rest.
im just worried that if he will stay on mice.
i like him eating his pk med rats. he is a little less than a year old and already at just under 3ft and 976 grams.

i'd like him to stay a heavy feeder and stud.
he's a gorgeous pastel very bright yellows and orange's with a very lighter
than usual browning on his spine.

    im worried over nothing huh?
