colubrid.......but they look exactly like little pythons. they breed like crazy. 4-5 clutches per year on average. they are cool as heck. i miss mine. i sold him off as he didnt fit in my plans.

This female is growing very fast and wouldnt surprise me if she breeds this up coming spring. But i need to find a nice male for her first.

Shes is very calm as most usually are. Like to run away from you while in the cage/tub. But once you have them in hand they move slowly observing

House snakes are neat lil guys. We have one, and its actually the first snake that we ever let my daughter hold (supervised of course, she's a little over 2). He was very calm and sweet with her, and basically just chilled and let her hold him. He's never snapped at anything other then a mouse before.
Ours has been a problem shedder, until we recently came up with the brilliant idea to put his hide over his water dish (head slap - DOH!). His last shed was perfect!

Odd to have a problem shedder with house snakes. Ive yet to catch a shed with this girl and all came off full piece.
