"Clear" means that none of the snake's pattern shows on the shed skin...it doesn't mean it's crystal clear. Sounds like you got a good ghost shed to me.

"pastel bands"? What are those? I didn't realize that there was a certain banding associated only with pastels.

If you had been just a few days earlier. Yea sorry, that sucks. It would have been much cooler hooking you up than some one else. We have another litter on the way, who knows.

JLC.. is this in fact a clear shed? i know its hard to see but. im crossing my fingers the guy i bought him from said he is a het ghost and not a ghost thats why im questioning I totally trust this breeder and what not but he is quite an example of a pastel het ghost then if that makes sense also I was looking online and orange ghost pastels run for like 5 hundrd bucks is that true?

You're showing the belly scutes part of the shed, which would be expected to be clear on a pastel. What about the top part - can you see pattern in the shed?

It's hard to tell from the pics. It looks mostly clear, but it also looks like there's some pattern on the part near your fingers. Hopefully some of those with experience breeding ghosts will chime in, I'm hardly an expert in such matters. I also don't shop for snakes, so can't really comment on how much POGs normally go for. Sorry!
