Know anything about People to People International Exchange Program??
I just received a letter inviting my son Tristen to possibly participate in a summer exchange program in Austraila. Has anyone heard of this organization....know anything about it? Not quite sure how they got my sons name...if he was nominated to be part of the program or what. I found it interesting though since he is set on being a marine biologist and has been since being a little guy. (not that he is all grown up right now...lol....10)
Anyways just wondering if anyone knew anything about them other than what is on their website.

Can't help you there, but be careful. We live in Maryland and I got letters from some sort of camp sponsored by John Hopkins University. Seems it's a real camp, but after all was said and done, they wanted $3800 for a 2 week summer camp.

I found a few things on it, scares me too, I don't think I would trust some company that randomly sends out a letter that you haven't signed up for.

Thank you for the information guys. The whole missing kids thing FREAKS me out. Maybe I would be better suited to just take my son there myself. Probably cheaper... I loved the idea of him being able to work with a dolphin research facility though....right up his alley

That would be great for your son. I know that would be a trip of a lifetime. Is there anyting else available that would be a little closer (meaning, in our country or continent)? I don't if it's worth visiting, but have you ever visited the Sealife Aquarium?
