This sight just put a little smile on face :)
Ivy is getting big for a snake hatched in 7/09. Weighed her after this pic was taken and she was 1400g (full of poop lol) so she is around 1200g empty already.
Anyways, I was just checking in on everyone and giving them fresh water when I caught her doing this. I've been wondering why she has been avoiding the hot spot like a plague for the last month despite feeding even more aggressively than normal. I hope to breed her next year and this is just really cool and encouraging 
Too bad the flash in this pic washes the gold tones out :/

No, she has only been near my adult male Anubis when I handle them.
I'm pretty sure its a normal sign of building follicles (which doesn't require a males presence). My big normal girl Alice did the same kind of bowl wrapping (full body, tightly hugging the bowl to the point of looking lumpy/kinked) last winter when I felt her building follicles.
Thanks guys, I can't wait to try breeding her next year (if everything works out lol) !

Yep.....
Why wait until next year? Give the girl the luvin she wants right now. BG has said it before, and he'll say it again. If your female was in the wild, every male that came slithering by would not ask her how old she was. If she's ready....she's ready. Don't deny the poor girl the action she's looking for. BG likes to keep all his girls happy.
