    Re: Tubs?

The ones I have came with my rack, so I'm not sure exactly what they are, or how to go about buying in bulk. But I can tell you what I like and don't like about them.

I LOVE how easy they are to clean.
I LOVE how relatively easy it is to maintain proper heat gradients and humidity levels.
I LOVE how I can have four fabulous pets in the space that it would normally take me to house just one.

I kinda wish the whole set up was more aesthetically pleasing.
I kinda wish the animals were a little more visible to watch.

Those two "kinda wishes" are far outweighed by all the positives of using the tubs and the rack. I can still see them moving around and being snakies...just not quite as freely as if they were housed in glass tanks. The tradeoff is more than worth it, though.

I have a four drawer rack that I believe is an Animal Plastics product...but I bought it used about two years ago, and really didn't ask for or pay attention to specifics because it fit my needs so perfectly without any extra details.

I personally like the tubs from Vision. They are sturdy and very easy to clean. There really isn't anything that I don't like about them.

I have home made kind and I just found 41qt tubs locally in stock.. ( walmart never had the 41 in when I look so I happen to stopped by kmart with a friend and bang there 8 of them these are rubbermaid clear ( verus the sterile one s I been getting before) but i don't care if they fit my rack . I also seen they had about 40 more on a high shelf in another section ( i guess for quick grabbing when needed) so Iwill be set

I have used Rubbermaid 41 quarts and sterilite 12 and 28 quart tubs, but i have to say my Iris CB-70 tubs are amazing. Flat bottom so they are easy to clean and they are sturdy compared to the Rubbermaids which are a bit flexible when a snake is inside.
