first feed refusal
Hey all .. my male normal has started to refuse food this is the 3rd week. i know this is a common thing.. hes healthy and looking good .warm 92 cool side 80/83. hum 56% he is seemimg a bit more active in the eveings/night than normal. BUT my real question is .hes 400gms .i weighted him yesterday hes 400gms. this strikes me as odd.as he would be a little light yet to wanna breed. think he might be looking for some love? im not too worried as fasting is common .but this young? come on!!!

Re: first feed refusal
there is like a million threads on this already. it is breeding season and they go off feed thius time of year. males breed much younger than females so it is normal for ur 400g male to go off feed. dont worry unless he starts to lose a consiberable amount of weight
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

Yeah my 1600 gram female is off feed right now, but my male 1000 gram is still eating great.
Every snake is different and 400 grams is perfect for breeding, so he probably is off feed waiting for females. No worries!
