ughh. refusing to eat. for a while...? what should I do?
My snake hasnt eaten in a while... probably close to a month or more. Ive tried almost everything, her temps are fine, I made sure the mice were nice and warm, even used a diff batch of smaller mice. I was thinking about buying a two pack or something from petco to test out, or try a live mouse.
She looks fine, she doesnt look like shes lost any weight, but it was right after she was doing really well and she shed. I think she stopped after that...
Also I seem to remember her going off feed last year about this time also? Could it have something to do with the season.... Maybe slight temp difference or something?

Prob due to the time of the year. I wouldn't worry they'll eat when they're ready.

you shouldn't worry about it unless you start seeing some significant weight loss.
if the snake starts to look "triangular" than you should start to worry... but 1 month is nothing. I know people who only feed there snakes once a month and they have lived full lives and they are never unhealthy looking.
goodluck!,

It's very common and it drives BG INSANE(well more insane if that's possible ).
Just keep a close eye on your snake and continue to try and feed, but not as often. She will most likely start eating again in the future. Come back in 4 months if not.

UPDATE
she still hasnt eaten. UNTIL TODAY.
It was probably close to 5 months of not eating but today I gave in and bought her a live mouse, since I was sick of her not eating, shes way to small for her age.
Well... she ate it. I just wish she would stick with frozen thawed. Thats all she ever ate but then she just started refusing them, and showing no interest at all.
