    i got some cage q's

has anyone ever used or is anyone currently using a vision cage from LLLreptile.com? its white plastic, i think, on the sides, back, bottom & top and has glass doors on the front. they're the only cages i can find that are within a reasonable price and is slightly larger then the one i have now. i'm currently using a glass visionarium from creativepet.com it measures
12" tall x 12" deep x 30" long. the vision cage im looking at for the future is
    18" tall x 28" deep x 36" long.
everything else i've seen was either too tall (balls dont need the height) or not long enough (i dont think a 30" long cage will be sufficient enough for an adult female ball + the fact that as she grows i'll need to upgrade the sizes of her hide boxes which i'm getting from reptilebasics.com and i wont be able to fit all the sizes into the 30" cage i have right now, so in order to upgrade to hide boxes that'll properly house an adult ball, i'll need to upgrade the size of the cage. i'm just thinking ahead.

    my current collection
    1.2 kiddos
    1.0 better half
    0.1 mojave ball python (Nyx)
    0.1 Dumerils Boa (Hemera)
    1.0 Eastern Box turtle
3.4.? rats (? = litter coming any day now)
    0.1 dutch rabbit (Lucy)

    my "future hopefuls"
0.0.1 pied cockatiel 0.0.1 white bellied caique 0.0.2 guinea pigs

I've only ever used them with venomous, but I like the visions. They are easy to clean, too.

I believe the 18x28x36 is the vision 332. I ordered two of those exact models from LLL. They are nice cages but can be a little bit cumbersome and the lips on the front of the cage make them a little hard to clean out if you use aspen, cypress etc. (in my experience). I dont keep my ball pythons in these cages, i have found that 41 qt tubs work best for me to house the ball pythons. Im not using the visions at all at the moment, but planning on moving a boa i have into them when she gets a little larger.

Re: i got some cage q's

I don't have any visions, I'm an AP fan, but it's basically the same concept. Imo, acrylic cages are WELL worth the extra money. I got my first AP maybe a year ago, intending to have one nice cage and keep the rest of my glass cages. Within six months, every glass cage in my house migrated to the storage shed.
