    Breeding questions?

When should you palpate for follicles, before or after ovulation? I saw a video on here a while back that showed how to palpate the females, anybody know where it is, can't seem to find it now?

    Re: Breeding questions?

You palpate before ovulation. Once you get an ovulation its a done deal and there is no reason to palpate then. Palpating is simple when the follicles are of decent size... its still early in the breeding season so follicles may be hard to feel just yet. If you follow the typical breeding schedule then generally you will find some decent size follicles by Jan/Feb.
