Stuck Shed on Head and Eyes

One of my BPs had a bad shed the other day, after soaking her yesterday, I managed to get most of the shed off of her. The only problem is she still has shed stuck on her head and eyes. Ive never had a BP have stuck shed on the head and eye area. Whats the best way to remove the old skin from there?

I'd do another soak for 30-60 minutes....using a small soaking tub placed in the warm spot of her enclosure. If you put a washcloth in the tub, she may rub it off on that. Otherwise...after you remove her from the soaking tub, use a wet washcloth in your hand and encourage her to slither through it so you can rub off the stuck shed as she goes.

A word on soaking the snake...use tepid water (water that feels neither warm nor cold to your touch...if the water feels warm to your skin, it may be too warm for comfort for the snake)....and put just enough water in the tub to come about 1/2 way up the snake's sides. They don't need to be swimming to get a good soak.

I have alot of luck with a wet pillowcase.... I just soak the pillowcase in body temp water put the snake in tie it up and set them in an empty tub near the hot spot.....

Thanks for the replies. The mistake I made was that I didnt have the washcloth in the tub. And boy what a difference that made. A good amount of the shed on her head had already started loosening up and coming off after about 30 minutes. I let her slither through the washcloth a few times, and voila it worked! Now I have a happy snake again haha. Thanks again for the replies.
