Just a question/opinion please about breeding a female after she laid eggs last year. Is it healthy?

After my Pastel laid 9 eggs last year she looked so skinny that I thought there was no way I was going to breed her this year. Now she is looking great. She has not refused a meal since. She is back up to weight and maybe even a little bigger. I was just wondering if there is any risk/health issues in breeding her again this year. I am more concerned for the health of my snake then trying to get eggs from her.
