    Good Frick... Fat Momma!

Got my normal girl in August. In August she was approx 900g.

Today....she tipped the scale at 2087g!

She got fed a medium rat one a week until 1300g, at 1300 she moved up to a larger medium. Stuck with that til about Mid Oct - started breeding and quit eating for three weeks. She finally started eating two weeks ago but only small mediums. Picked her up tonight and couldnt believe how heavy she felt - and when i saw how much she gained i just busted out laughing...lol.

Ive been calling her Big Momma.. might have to change it to FAT Momma!

(she has poo'd recently and i dont believe she is gravid either... even though she is about to shed, she has never indicated any eggs with palpitating - she does coil a lot but she does that often anyway)
0.1 normals, 1.0 spider, 0.1 pastel, 7.5 crested geckos, 1.0 leopard gecko, two dogs, three cats, birds, rats, mice and an old lady (shes the viscous one!)

I must say, I've never heard of a snake that size more than doubling their weight in 3-4 months. That's...quite something.

mmm looks like i was a month off and a little off on weight - so not quite as impressive lol..

Got her in July - not August (got pastel in August) and she was 950 - not 900. mixed the dates and weight up with my normal male! but still pretty close.

Wow, I have quite a few females and they have never put on weight like that, and I will give them a couple large rats a week every now and then. When I think of a female of mine getting to 1500-1600 grams it typically is a 3 year process. Going from 950 to 2k in 5 months is insane.
