Post pics of your red tail setups.

I have a 3 and a half year old female red tail boa. She is starting to become a big, powerfull snake. Hard to guess her length, but she is right about 6 to 7 feet in length. She is eating large to jumbo sized rats.

Right now I have her in a 30 gallon long breeder tank (critter keeper style). I am tying to decide if it is time to get a bigger enclosure yet. She seems quite comfortable in her current tank, and don't know when I should move to something bigger. When I do get something bigger, what can I put her in next that will be big enough for the rest of her life?

I like the cages from reptile basics that are 2 foot x 4 foot x 1 foot high. Like this:

BUT that is a lot of money... and the tank she is in now is 3 feet long... so I would only be gaining 1 foot.

Please help and post your setups for your bigger snakes if you can!

I keep my rtbs in the boaphile 422d(4'x2'x18"). I am working on the 322d boaphiles for my bps as well. I just need two more 322d tanks to have them all set up. They are a bit pricy but they are my favorite ones to work with. I have nothing bad to say about these tanks. I have both boas and at one time I had bearded dragons in a few of them.
All around great product. Hold heat and humidity very well, and very light weight.

Heres the cage I just finished for my burm. She dwarfs it but its 30" x 30" x 96". I plan to make something a lil fancier for my boas, but they are still small.

I made a 4x2x2 malemine cage. Didn't need to be so high but it used all the wood with no scraps left over.
