Female flirtasciousness.
Has anybody ever seen where the female will persue the male? My female keeps moving her tail into position on top of his as though to say, "Hey big boy, what you waiting for?"

Re: Female flirtasciousness.
A little bit yeah! Last winter I couldn't leave my black pastel alone for any length of time with my pied female, because he'd try to put the moves on her. He'd follow her around and put his head on her, and then wiggle a few inches of his body against her, and then put his head on a different part of her... until finally he got himself lined up BACKWARDS. And then I laughed at him, and separated them.
...but this autumn when I finally gave him his big chance and paired them, the black pastel spent the first two weeks not doing anything. AT ALL. And the pied seemed almost upset about it--she kept nudging him and poking her head underneath his body. It was almost like the mirror of him putting his head on her last winter?
Anyway, happy ending: he went into a shed cycle a couple weeks after the first pairing, and now they're locking regularly.

These two have already locked numerous times. I just asked about this because normally it was him chasing after her. Seems like roles have swapped.

Re: Female flirtasciousness.
I just had this with our Albino girl, she raised tail and scented like crazy and and chased him around like a mad woman
He curled up in the corner and went to sleep
