has anyone ever heard of a female NOT going off feed while gravid?

cuz oh man, she shed about 1-n-half weeks ago and has eaten twice.
before even when she ate 5-6 mice,
she wouldn't show a bulge AT ALL! not once have i seen a bulge in her belly after a 5-course meal.

yesterday she ate 7 large mice
(trust me she's a big gurl and can handle the meal)
and she has done so in the past with no bulged belly.
today she looks like she swalloed a coke can!
i dont know how to palpate and still try but no dice.
but she has gained about 800grams in 2 months....

what cha think peep's?


oh and in august, she only weighed 1000. grams. LONG fast before sept.
she has eaten 5-6 mice a week,
and one week decided to mau-down 9.

she still poops regularly and drinks gallons of water.

First... yea, mine ate untill 4 weeks before she layed eggs..

And second... switch that girl to rats!! Rats have more meat on there bones then mice, only will need 1 instead of 6 ( cost less for you ), easier on the snake to digest 1 huge rat then a bunch of mice. She will grow better and healthier!

i would love too but she got bit by a rat and since then wont eat anything bigger than her head and to be honest, she's been gaining weight and feeding like a ravenous beast since i switched her.... oh and before anyone suggest,

she refuses pre-killed and f/t... she's a picky one but healthy and quite a beefy chick i might add.

I have a couple girls just like that, no rats but will eat 5-6 asf's in 30 minutes or so, lol.
She's growing as fast as any of my rat eaters similar in size.

Nothing like a rat eating big momma, but when they won't "a snake that eats is a happy snake".

I've yet to have a female eat after ov myself but it's not unheard of.
